Finally

Finally I am able to sit down and catch up on a lot of old news. I don't even know where to start. I feel like it has been so long! We had a great time in Sumter for Easter and remarkably were able to make all of our rounds and still squeeze in a date day in Columbia. We met our new cousin, Tilly for the first time, and she is precious to say the least.

Henry wasn't much into the egg hunt this year, and kept calling the eggs, balls (to give him credit all of the easter eggs he has come in contact with have all been decorated as sports balls, so I guess they are balls in a way).

This week was my first week having 3, and I will admit it was very busy. It was fun to watch Henry interact with another kid his age all day. We had a lot of fun, and are looking forward to week two!

Leslie came to visit this weekend. She helped me on Friday with the kids, and on Saturday Jeff kept Henry while we went shopping. It was a fun time to catch up and we found a lot of good deals. I think good deals follow Leslie wherever she goes! To be so lucky...

Upcoming events...
Mom is coming this weekend to watch Henry while Kate and I travel to Georgia for a Women's Retreat. When we return, Jeff has a surprise getaway on the island planned. I love spontanous trips!

Busy, Busy, Busy

You guessed it, we have been super busy lately! Last weekened we took advantage of the nice weather and decided to head to the beach. It was a little chilly, but it was nice to be out. There wasn't a whole lot of relaxing going on due to Henry's new interest in seagulls. He chased the birds and we chased him! Tuesday I also did a trial run watching another little girl who is about Henry's age. It was never a dull moment, but luckily they all do well with routines, and in no time, she was a part of the gang! Her mom actually just called me back last night with her decision, and starting on Monday I will be the proud mom of 3 kids (kind've)!! Henry will be surrounded by girls! Ironic, huh? This week was also arts and crafts week. The teacher in me will never die I suppose! The kids made Easter picture frames for their moms, and I thought they turned out really cute! I also made Henry dress up in his Easter outfit early to get some home shots. He is such a camera hog, and I think he was born knowing what "cheese" means.

This weekend will be celebrated in Sumter with our families, and we will get to meet our new little cousin, Tilly! We can't wait!
HAPPY EASTER!

My favorite picture. Check out those teeth. 5 and counting...

You didn't put anything in the basket, mom!

Kylee's Easter picture frame. By the way, the bunny at the bottom is Kylee's big toe!
