All of a Sudden

Clay sat up on his own last week from a stomach position and then later that week started crawling! Still a slow crawler and hasn't ventured into other rooms yet, but I'm sure that's coming soon. I'm going to try and post pictures tonight, but Jeff and I are headed to a relaxing weekend in Charleston, so I've got to get packing!

Clay is 6 wait...7 months

Still can't believe that our little chunkins is 7 months old. Closer to a year now. So fast, so sad, but we are loving every minute of him. When I say he is a good baby that is an understatement. He truly is the happiest, most content, on schedule baby. Every once in a while he will get in a liitle funk, but nothing a feeding, nap, or diaper change won't change and presto back to smiley, tongue sticking out snorting (yes, now he snorts when he laughs) Clay.

He is taking 3-4 naps a day (his choice not mine). Eating 5 times a day with baby food at lunch and dinner (soon to be breakfast too). So far he likes everything (fruits more than veggies, but eats it all nonetheless).

He is trying to sit on his own, but not to the point he can be left alone yet. He loves playing on his stomach and is getting up on his hands and knees and rocking backing forth. He is scooting backwards when he realizes he can't go forward. And if all else fails, he steam rolls across the room, putting everything in his mouth along the way. Not quite sure I'm ready for a mover, but he's getting closer and closer everyday.

Clay had his 6 month check-up on May 27. We were able to get in and out and had great results.

Clay weighed in at 22 lbs and 10 oz (97%) Was 28 3/4 inches tall (97%). His head measured 17 1/2 in. (75%)

No concerns. We do have to move him out of his carseat though (It only goes up to 22 lbs). So Henry will be getting a booster really soon.

The mom of two boys is a busy one, but we love you Clay and are so thankful for the last 7 months!

Henry had to get in one too

Oh, and by the way Happy Memorial Day!
