18 months a little late...

Okay, so I admit I'm really bad at this whole blogging thing. I try to keep a routine-but as some of you have already mentioned (on several occasions I might add) I just can't keep up. I promise it is on my list of to do better at's.

More importantly, Henry turned 18 months last Wednesday. He amazes me!! Sometimes I just look at him and wonder how he knows how to do that.

He talks beyond belief and will repeat anything you say, for better or worse. He loves music and loves to dance, but yes he is all boy. He absolutely loves being outside and loves his friends Kylee and Kate.

He loves to go on walks and yells out colors of trucks and cars he sees. It sounds like he has teretz (sp). If you ever walked up on us it would sound a lot like WHITE TRUCK, RED CAR, etc. Very funny! It's amazing how fast he's picked up on colors. He's pretty good, but can get a little mixed up time to time.

He has just started saying "Love you" which is the best thing in the world. He only says it when you ask, but it's still the best.

He loves to sing this song called "I have so much to be thankful for" Laura taught us this at the beach and he's just learning his family members names so I thought I would start asking him who he's thankful for. Bad idea. He knows more people's names than you think, and it could last a lot longer than you planned. His favorites...Dada, Dede, and Elmo. Sad I know and when I say what about Mama, he say's no. I will crack him!

He is obsessed with trucks, cars, and choo choo trains and will run them across the windowsills all day. He thinks that is his track. It used to be the walls, but we had to have some sort of compromise.

We have purchased a potty, but are just kind've playing around. Mary Kate is showing a lot more interest, so I'm hoping Henry will catch on. He could go all day with poop in his pants and when you ask him and he has pooped, he runs from you. We're on the right track, don't you think?

I know this is long and random, but it is just a glimpse of our little Henry. (Not so little anymore, at his 18 month appt. he was 90% for height). I wonder where he gets that from?

We could not be happier with the little boy he is and the person he is becoming.

We love you, Henry!

How we found him after nap. He likes to take his clothes off by himself.

Still loves his truck.

His new big boy car, thanks to Ms. Reames.

Hard to Keep Up

We've had a lot going on in the last couple of weeks. Many I don't have pictures to share so you'll have to use your imagination. Rick and Katie got married in Charleston at the end of July and Leslie came to visit the next weekend. Both went smoothly thanks to my mom. Leslie and I had a nice visit and she even watched Henry while we went on a date night.

We went home to Sumter last weekend for a baby shower for Jeff's cousin Elizabeth and Ervin's birthday party. We had a great time at both. It's been a while since we have left Bluffton so It was something we definitely looked forward to. It was nice to see family again and catch up.

Pop Pop, Nana, and Henry- I had the best time with them while Mom went to the baby shower.
