A Man and His Throne

We've been playing around with potty training lately, and the only way we can get Henry to stay on the potty is to give him a magazine. The picture does not do justice just how funny the experience was. We do have a video, but we thought we would spare Henry the embarrassment....for now.

Citadel Homecoming

We had a great time in Charleston for the Citadel Homecoming game. They played Wofford and unfortunately lost, but other than that a great trip. The weather was PERFECT! Henry had a great time with his cousins, Nolan, Carter, Tyler, Dylan, and Molly. He also had a great time with their toys- especially Tyler's cars! It was nice to catch up with everyone and enjoy fall at the beach!

Halloween night

We had some friends over for Halloween to trick-or-treat with us and to watch the Carolina game afterwards. The trick-or-treating was great- no comment on the afterwards.

Henry's friends, Alex the farmer and Annabelle the bee came over to walk around the neighborhood with him. The amount of people that were out was unreal! One of our friends passed out candy at our house while we walked with the kids. He ran out of candy, and then started handing out other snacks in the house! So funny!

We just went around the block to the people's houses we knew, but Henry insisted on walking himself. He would go up to a house and set his pumpkin down and walk off. I don't think he really cared about the whole candy thing at all. Good thing too, because when we got back to the house we had more trick-or-treaters so we gave them all of Henry's candy. I don't think he will let us get away with this next year. It was a great time!

Trunk or Treat

Last weekend we had Trunk or Treat at our church. They had games laid out for the kids and even a professional country line dancing instructor. Of course once Henry saw a field with balls in it, he was hooked. He loves to play with older kids. Our pastor has 3 boys 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, and Henry thinks they are the coolest. It's so cute to watch them watch out for him! The night was a hit, and it was a great start to our Halloween festivities! The pictures are a little out of order, but you get the picture!

Let's go!
