Happy Birthday, Jeff!

Jeff is 30 today! Jeff had a birthday week, and for the past week woke up to 30 of his favorites. We had people over for the game Thursday, had a nice dinner Friday, and celebrated with cake tonight. It's been a great week!

Jeff,
We are so proud of you, and are so thankful for all you do! You are a great husband and a fantastic Da. We hope you've had a great day, and we can't wait to celebrate many more with you!

We love you!

Sumter and Carolina Gamecocks

We went to Sumter last weekend to celebrate Jeff's birthday. Jeff also won pre-game field tickets to the Carolina game that Saturday so we made a weekend of it. We had a great time visiting with family and catching up with everyone.

The game was a nice date night and being on the field before the game started was really exciting! I thought it would be a little cheesy, but I think I could really get used to watching the game from that view. We walked out right behind the cheerleaders and watched all of the players run out of the tunnel, and were so close we could have touched them. I know it's just the Gamecocks, but there was a real energy about being down there and it made the game! Henry had a good time with Mimi and Dede, and Carter and Nolan did a great job of keeping him entertained!

Helping Da open presents

Not too excited about Nolan helping him eat- he had just been woken up, not too happy about that either

Happy 30th Da!!

Our little Superman! This was Carter's he grew out of. Thanks Carter for sharing your love of superheroes! We hope Henry can live up to your expectations.

Go Oysters!

Jeff plays for the Bluffton Oysters softball team, and this was Henry getting ready to go to the ballpark. He's got one of Jeff's old gloves- too cute!

Palmetto Bluff

Henry has been a little under the weather this weekend. He has an ear infection in both ears and is not himself. Cranky does not sum up his personality lately. We miss our easy going, laid back Henry. Hopefully the bubblegum medicine will do its job. We tried to get him out of the house a little, and Sunday evening was our best attempt yet. We went to Palmetto Bluff to play on the treehouse and walk around the grounds for some entertainment.

Henry wasn't really interested in the playhouse. Jeff and I went up and we thought it was great. He was focused mainly on his car. We brought his push car and he wanted to push it around everywhere. He did like climbing on the rubble near the Inn and up and down the stairs.

This place is a nice reminder of what a beautiful place Bluffton is.

Not just any old treehouse.

Thought this was cute. Since being sick, Henry has become very fond of cuddling with Lake for comfort.

82 and Breezy

Music to my ears. Fall is my favorite time of year and today was a little glimpse of that. We stayed outside from 10-2 without even coming in. Henry, Mary Kate, and I went to the playground with my neighbor, Meredith, her friend Kathleen, and two neighbor boys, Nolan and Sailor. We had the best time. No humidity! Henry's favorite thing was to slide down the big slide all by himself. Even I think it's a little scary. All the kiddos came back to our house and we had a picnic lunch outside and played some more on the back deck. Henry and Mary Kate were extremely worn out by this time, but I think the weather has given me new energy! Good thing too because Friday- next week I will have one more little toddler on my hands. Nothing long term, but just a favor for a friend. I'm sure we'll have lots of stories!

I think Henry ate a little off of everyone's plate. Surprise, Surprise!

My new friend, Nolan. Mary Kate is beside me, but she's so little you can't see her.

Nice to have another boy around the house.

How many kids can you fit on a hammock? Poor Sailor had to settle for the pillow.
