Halloween Party

Here is a just a glimpse of Henry's school Halloween party from today. Another mom and I were in charge, and it was really cute to see everyone dressed up. They went trick-or-treating throughout the building, then played games, and had a fun snack for thier party. Henry wanted to be a baseball player (imagine that) and was a mighty cute one if I say so myself. I'll post those when I download them.

A Great Shower

My sister-in-laws Katie and Laura and Jeff's cousin Jennifer threw a shower for me last weekend. It was a great time with family and friends and lots of diapers and wipes! We are so greatful to live so close to both of our families, and can't wait for this new little one to meet everybody. Speaking of him, I went to the doctor last Tuesday and everything seems fine. I am getting bigger and more tired everyday, but he seems content to stay put. I go back on Monday. My due date is next Sunday so they seem pretty sure we'll have baby next week. I'll know more if they want me to be induced or wait to see if he comes on his own on Monday.

Finally

Ok, so I've been missing my camera cord, and still can't find it anywhere, and I had been talking to Jeff for several weeks about getting a universal cord. Last night, out of nowhere, Jeff says oh I have one of those. So, finally I have lots of pictures downloaded. I was going to make this into several posts, but I thought it would be faster and easier to just combine the last couple of months into one. So here goes...

Here are some of the events you will see: Jeff's 31st birthday, Henry's first trip to the dentist, going to Willard Farms ( a pumpkin patch in Gable, SC) with Aunt Laura, Nolan, and Carter, finding a pumpkin to carve at a local church sale, going to a Pumpkin Patch/Fall Festival in McBee, SC with Lisa, Richard, and Tilly, and getting ready for our school Halloween party. Needless to say, we've been extremely busy, and loving the fall season!

The boys waiting for Jeff to cut the cake

No piece is big enough

Being such a big boy getting his teeth cleaned

Dede (Jeff's dad) checking out Henry's teeth

Willard Farms- this was a jumpy mattress type thing where the air was blown into it from underground

A dirt mound with underground pipes as slides- very make shift and the kids came down super fast. Henry is not scared of much, but he only went down this once with Nolan and I was secretly happy

A cow train made out of barrels, really cute

This was the only pumpkin patch that I have gone to that actually had real pumpkins you could pick off the vine

Pictures before we left

Going to find a pumpkin to carve

Looking around for the perfect one

I think we found it. Henry even wheeled it to the car.

The final product

McLeod Farms- Riding a pony all by myself

By far his favorite- the bouncy houses

Driving tractors

Posing with my sweet cousin, Tilly

Update

Where has the time gone? We have officially been in our new house for two weeks! Henry has adjusted well and we are steadily getting things ready before the baby comes. Jeff ran in the Marine Core Mud Run in Columbia and did great! It was a team of 4 guys one being his brother, Mike. The trail was 4.2 miles with over 25 obstacles! Henry and I went to cheer him on, but ended up getting there right when they finished due to a traffic nightmare!

Henry's school is going great! He loves his teachers, new friends, and of course the playground. He comes home singing new songs and saying Mrs. Valerie says... We are still working on the potty training. He will go everytime I take him, but won't stop playing to tell me on his own that he has to go. And number two has been a big obstacle, he refuses. Any ideas would be much appreciated!

The baby is doing great and is constantly moving and getting bigger everyday. I went in for a check-up yesterday and the doctor estimated his weight right now being 7 1/2 lbs. He said he would check me at 39 weeks to determine whether or not they wanted to induce me early. Unfortuanatley big husbands equal big babies! Ready or not, we'll have another little one in just a few short weeks! Hopefully I can find my camera cord before then to update you with pictures.
