I know it's been a while, but I feel like all of my free time has gone to resting. I don't think I felt this tired during the first pregnancy, maybe because this time I'm trying to keep up with an active 2 1/2 year old!
I will dedicate the first part of this to Henry because he turned 2 1/2 this month! He has grown so much in 6 months! Both inward and outward. Before I update you on who he's becoming I have to say that Jeff's mom was looking through some old things of her boys and came across their growth charts. Henry is the exact same height and weight as Jeff was when he was 2 1/2. Probably not that surprising since they are carbon copies of each other! Henry surprises me everyday! He is such an active little boy with a great memory. He loves trying new things and is not afraid of anything!
He loves: baseball, running, cars, trains, books, making dinosaur noises, and being outside.
He's learning: how to use the potty (is a pro at standing and aiming, but is still nervous about going number 2), can count to 20 with help at the end, can identify numbers 1-10 and all capital letters (thanks to his V-tech Thomas Computer and playing it over and over while we sit on the potty trying to do number 2), loves singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at the top of his lungs, can recite nursery rhymes (his favorite being Hickory Dickory Dock thanks to his cousin Nolan), and has memorized several of his favorite books line for line.
He keeps us busy, but also makes us laugh everyday! We love this little man and can't wait to see him with his little brother!
On another note...recent happenings with the Jones'
* Jeff's best friend Dave's wife Alexa and their beautiful little girl Roen came for a visit and it was fun for me and Henry to meet her.
* Henry will be starting preschool after Labor Day and is super excited!
* I joined a local MOPs group and will be a discussion leader for the year. We've already started meetings, and I've met lots of fun moms with kids Henry's age.
* And most importantly...We SOLD our house in Bluffton and will be closing in a couple of weeks. We've found a house here and will be moving shortly after our closing. Hopefully we'll be in and starting to get settled at the end of September!
What a big Fall we have ahead!!
