The Last Couple of Months...

I apologize for being so slack about this, but it has been so hard to find the time. We've had a lot going on recently and have some great pictures to share. I thought about uploading stuff last night, but Jeff has been at the beach all week and has the camera and cord with him. I'll give you a little update and post pictures soon.

In the last couple of months we have been lucky enough to visit Jeff when he has to travel to the beach. Jeff's parents have a condo there and it enables us to see Jeff and get some good beach time in. We were there a couple of weeks ago when the temperature almost felt summer like. Henry got a big dump truck for Easter and loved trying it out at the beach. While we were there Henry got to ride some of the rides at Broadway at the Beach. He amazes me how fearless he is when it comes to trying new things and wanting to do them alone. Jeff and Henry rode these race cars that moved pretty slow, but would sling shot around corners. I was more nervous than the two of them. The ride stopped for one little boy that was upset and when I looked at Henry he was screaming "Let's go again!"

We got to visit my sister and her husband in Lancaster, SC. They just built the most beautiful house and we had to check it out. I forgot to mention it is kind've in the country and they have chickens. Henry loved chasing them and feeding them dinner. They were very afraid to say the least. While we were there we visited the fire station where Henry got to climb all over the trucks, sit in the driver seat, turn on the lights, and shoot the water out of the hose (his Uncle Jamie used to work there). We also went to a really neat playground with Leslie's niece Natalie who is 4, and I can't forget Jamie's dad coming over with the tractor so Henry could ride on it with him. This was definitely a fun trip for both of us, but for Henry especially. Thank you Leslie for making it so special and for all of your generosity!

We have been attending a church that we are really comfortable with. It is a PCA church like the one we were members of in Bluffton. I have been going to a women's bible study on Tuesday mornings that I cannot say enough about! Henry is fitting in great and there are lots of young couples! Jeff is even playing on their softball team so it will be fun to go and watch him play again.

And last but definitely not least.... We are having another baby!!! We found out right when we moved, and couldn't be happier. I will be 11 weeks on Monday and everything is going great. We had our first ultrasound at 8 weeks so it was already bigger than when we saw Henry for the first time and it had arms and legs and was moving all around. Henry thinks he is having a little sister, but I think he wants it to be a girl so he doesn't have to share his trucks or trains!

I know this is a lot to take in, but I promise pictures will be coming and hopefully more frequent updates!
